Buy it online, I use the boat materials suppliers, plenty around and they usually have a wide selection of different sorts of resin (there are many
types) most are 1-2 day delivery

1-2 days isn't much use as I'm only off work for another day - hence wanting to find a local supplier I can go and pick some up from
*today*
Also the postage, etc is prohibitive for smallish quantities - a £14 tin from CFS becomes £25

Steve, you could try some of the boatyards in Reading or Henley there are 3 or 4 Boat Builders/Repairers in Thompsons Local plus there's
Euroclassic Boats in Wokingham 0118 969 1881.
Be interested on some feedback if you have time.
Cheers, Pewe

Managed to source some from C & H Mouldings who are based in Hobb's Boatyard in Henley
Not as cheap as CFS but got what I needed.

OK...been out and used their stuff tonight.
It's from Scott Bader and needs a slightly different technique to the CFS stuff.
1) It's coloured blue when in liquid form; when it reaches gel time, it turns yellowish.
2) unlike the CFS stuff, the time spent in a gel state seems to be quite a bit longer before it actually sets properly (stuff I did an hour or so ago
are still gel)
Other than that, it appears to work fine - I'll let you know tomorrow if it cures properly
