Bonnet bulge

Hello all,

does anyone know of a good place to get cheapish bonnet bulges.

i have a rover v8 with an edelbrock triangular filter that current sits about 1-1 and a half inches above the bonnet.

edelbrock recomend 3.5 inches clearance so i need a fairly hefty bonnet bulge.

have looked at various yank scoops etc but would prefer someone plain that does the job. (dont want to scoop air anyway)

does anyone know of a good small plave that does stuff like this?

do i need to worry too much about thw 3.5 inches that edelbrock recomend?

paul

If this is to go through an iva then you might have problems with forward vision with such huge bonnet bulge that sounds in the region of 4 ½ inches

no probs with IVA, already SVA'd, but with a pintio at the time.

theres a big daddy of a scoop on cbs, could do with having a look at one in the flesh ideally.

about 18/19 inches long on the top, by 17 inches wide.

Minimum height is 2.5 inches.

Been knocking around the garage for a while now - and has a bit of a chip out of it on the top - say a tenner for collection?

PS Where are you? I do tend to travel around the uk a bit...
