Recomendation For Bodyshop In Scotland To Spray My Fury
Hi,
I’m looking for a recommendation for a body shop in Scotland to prep and spray my Fury bodywork for me.
The bodywork is currently in black gel coat and I think there will be a fair amount of prep work needed. Most surfaces are covered in ripples, there
are some star cracks visible where the original mould has been damaged, and a couple of areas require a fair bit of attention - especially along the
rear edge of the bonnet where the mould has poorly extended. The rear light recesses which I will be blending into the bodywork will probably need a
bit of work too!
I’m looking to get the work done towards the end of summer. It’s a fair while away, but I’ll need to start saving now, and would like to get in touch
with the shop well in advance with a few photos get an idea of the cost and timescale for the work!
Can anyone recommend a body shop for a good finish at a decent price?
Many thanks,
Jek

I can recommend ian at probodyshop in Cambuslang. I had some work done on my tintop and I couldnt fault it, he was very reasonable with the cost too.
It's only a small place and you may have a wait to get it done (usually a good sign) but if your not in a rush then it wont bother you
anyway.

As per Mango's advice, do not even entertain using a bodyshop that doesn't have extensive experience with GRP.

Thanks guys,
I'll give Roddie a ring and send him through some photos of the nasty bits to see what he thinks.
