spray gun vapour trap - advice please !

Hi all

I am finally approaching the stage where my Fury will require spray painting.

I have collated as much information as I can on spray guns, compressors, regulators, paint, protection etc.. but I am a bit lost when it comes to sourcing / using a vapour /water trap.

Ebay sell the inline jobbies for around £10 which is pretty cheap - but has anyone used one with success? Or if I use two of them in line (with a good distance between the two to allow vapour to cool back to water - a sort of belt and braces approach?

Its a one-off DIY job, aiming for a fairly presentable finish (not worried about it being concours!) and will be spraying cellulose, outdoors - under a gazebo on a warm day.

Any advice on this subject would be much appreciated here.

cheers

Richard

Some of the cheaper ones are rubbish. I got one from Screwfix less than £30. Seems to be doing its job. Remember to empty the bowl before every session.Good luck.
