Cheaper Alternative to Dzus Fasteners
Does anyone have any suggestions for a cheaper alternative to Dzus fasteners, now that I have the rear diffuser fitted it is a lot more difficult to
carryout my usual nut & bolt checks without having to remove it
Currently my rear cover/boot lid is fixed with self tapping screws and my plan is fit some quick release fittings to give me access from the top

Ooooh Please.. Dzuz Fasteners were Crappy in their fittment to Spits and Hurricanes. They smoked (ate out their mountings in use) and fell off
alarmingly frequently.. not great, if dodging Me 109's like yer life depended on it..
But in fine English tradition. why give up on crap product?? Even 60 years after being proven a very poor product.

My fine Italian motorcycle came with Dzus fasteners from the factory, they seem to work pretty well. What would you suggest as a suitable alternative
quick release fastener?

We used these "camloc" fasteners on the students formula racer, they came in stainless, very very good but certainly not locost ... and
require regular maintenance with cleaning/lubrication, so not for how shall we say the more "rough arsed" builders who fit and forget
camloc
