Painting a powdercoared chassis

I may have the chance to buy a part finished Hawk Stratos that has the body painted and fitted but with a black powder coated chassis.

The car would look much better with the chassis painted body colour since the originals were a mononcoque.

Is it possible/reasonable to have this done? Are the 2 things compatible?

I totally stripped my car to the bare chassis and used paint stripper to remove the crap powder coating before painting it with POR15 followed by Hardnose paint from Frosts . It's been done several years now and still looks good.

As the body is painted and bonded on I was hoping to spray over the powder coat.

Best of luck, I tried touching up my chassis with pretty poor results. Probably worth trying on a section that won't be seen?
