is this the general position of nosecones

right , its a pic that i took that i didnt resize , but i will later .

anyway , is this the general position of nosecones in general , does it need trimming back etc , since i havent got me wishbones attatched .

the nosecone is apparently a copy of something more exotic AHem ,c**....... you see , so should be 2 inch difference from the bottom of the chassis as per the book . I plan to make it fit properly - just dont want to be completely in the wrong place . As long as it mounts flush with the front of the chassis i should be ok?

I am not exactly sure where my nosecone came from, i bought i from a reputable company as a 2nd.

It is very deep at the bottom and has a strange 'extra' bit that hangs slightly below the floor line of the car. I am thinking about crudely chopping it off and fitting a supporting plate on the inside to try and maintain the strength.

Have a look at it in my archive, bottom photo called 'front right view'.

It would probably be best to mod it with fibreglass, but i have no experience of doing that and wouldn't really know where to start.
