aero screen height

have a small aero screen fitted to my F27 at the min, was wondering what the max height can be before Mr SVA says its a windscreen?, and also any one using polycarbonate sheet ? , I can get some 6mm thick , to make a new screen, any comments troops?

I was thinking about the same thing, i have a MAC#1 aeroscreen and although they advised me not to fit it pre-SVA i could really do with it to raise my mirrors up high enough. The MAC#1 screen has returns at each side, which are perfect for bolting the mirrors to.

Are there any diagrams in the manual? I have the manual at home, but am at "work" just now.

Why not fit one after SVA like I did

No screen... allows you to have:
No Washers, No Wipers, No Heater, No Demister / Defroster.

Saves a ton of work, them you can do what you want afterwards.

Same as a Q plate gives you a visual emission test at Mot Time. OK, it still has to pass the Emissions at the SVA... but helps later.

Cool ! realised this bit, but I thought Id have to make some sort of token aero screen thing for the SVA, I'll cross that one off the list then...
