3mm 5 bar Aluminium Checker Plate
Where the cheapest place. Ideally in the South or cheap delivery. I need four 62"x14.25" sheets.

Don't bother phoning, as it will cost you more (start involving the office).
Call in at the goods inwards shutter doors and push the button and ask for some scrap ali (I think the chaps name is Bob) and they will call someone
across.
Its tread plate, not chequer plate and the price will be based upon weight, the scrap value.
There are usually a few 8 x 4 whole sheets with scuffed edges and a huge guillotine so measure up what you want and get it cut to size !

yes - I should have said that. They weigh it. If you've got the real measurements you need you will hopefully be able to find bits to fit

Depending on price if it helps the deal I might be interested in some to re-panel the centre of the trailer I use. Could even use the trailer to get
it all back maybe
