...unless you fill in the engine bay (with engine in) with plywood, hotmelt glue, plaster and body filler, paint it, wax it and pull a mould then lay
up your own bonnet!

So true... If I ever did it again there would be NO fibreglass......all ali for me, but it was my first attempt at fabrication, and like all of us,
we have learnt soooo much and gained in skills!...

Ive just made one out of Bakelite for that real retro look.I was also going to make my headlamps out of discarded coconuts.
Six months or so and you'll all be copying me.
