Wing mirros folding in!!!
Ok gents, I'm having a slight problem with the wing mirrors folding in at slightly higher than average speeds .
I'm currently using moped mirrors, they're is no problem with vibration just the fact the fold in.
Anyone have any ideas of how to cure this?

Dan,
I reckon the prob is the fact that mopeds are restricted to 30mph
CBS do some fake CF which I have and are quite nice!

Agreed. Drive like the Italians and remove all rear facing mirrors and focus on going forwards really quickly.

Take the mirrors off the stalks, wrap a bit of tape around the ball to add friction and then remount the mirrors to the stalks.

Does that screw on the mirror back adjust knuckle tension?

It does, but it's tightened until it's just about to strip the plastic housing.
I like the tape idea or i might just key up the ball with a bit of wet & dry.
