Black Helicopter tape

any of you aerospace people know if you can get helicopter / edge protection tape in black. I am thinking about stone guards for rear arches so it would have to be about 300mm wide. If so where can I get some.

thanks

Yes you can,

It is adhesive backed and the adhesive is activated with MEK. The material is a type of polyurethene about 1mm thick and has a silky/ matt finish. I'll try and dig out the manufacturer today but you can bet it won't be Locost.

Comes in the size you need though

Do you mean Armourfend, this is what they use on the Lotus Elise, very good stuff but not cheap!

Bike tank protectors are made of some hefty stuff and are available in different colours and textures if you can find out where they get their raw material from, probably signmakers stuff as well.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
