Hly cw!!!

You gotta bring that round when it's SVA'd or at least bring it up to Newlands Corner!!!

Any idea when it will be on the road?

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

I take my hat off to you for building this car!

I bet people look at you with some dis belief when you tell them you built it all from sctratch in your own garage to your own design.

Superb!!!

Looks fantastic - and the 'little guy' should get some praise too for keeping the workshop clean

My only slight comment would be wheels - did you try several sets - when I look at it - it screams IMOLA wheels to me? (I do have odd taste!)

But looks ace and far exceeds anything I could do, or imagine!

Can't wait to see it in person at one of the shows

Thanks for the back slapping!!!
It has taken me 6 1/2 years to do and I am planning my next design!
Where is newlands?
I am just waiting for my sva date. I have sent off my money and I have returned the declaration they sent me so it should be soon.
I only hope that it is soooooon!
I bought a 4 wheel tracking machine on ebay and today was the first time I got to use it.
Boy does it make a difference to handling.
It goes around corners on rails!
(I live in a short private cul-de-sac).
The brakes are bedding in nicely too.
As to the wheels, in the spirit of locost (well me being tight) I bought a set fox racing wheels with tyres (205/50R15) from a local tyre shop where my mate works. I paid about £375 for the set. They appealed to me because of the hidden wheel nuts and single nut like formula cars have.
