Video of Graber destroying the plug
Pulled the moulds off the plug last night. The plug cracked in several places as I was removing it, so the option of saving it was not there.
I decided to simply destroy the plug.
It was a strange thing to destroy something that took so long to build.

As long as the moulds are good though... I am really looking forward to seeing the finished thing now...

the most worse scenario
what if you get a frontal accident and your
bonnet has gone!
the rest can easyly be repaired..
then you even have a bad plug..
altopugh saying that should be good feeling....
its like giveing the car some when you need adrenaline to progress right?

I think you misunderstand, its the plug that's been desrtroyed - not the mould.
Body parts are taken from the (good) mould. Only if a new mould is to be made, do you need the plugs.

OMG
I sincerely hope the moulds were good and you can take further body moulds off them.
For an unhappy man you seemed to take some pleasure out of hammering it to bits. You sure are a quick worker - 2 mins 22secs to do that!!!!
Cant wait to see the moulds.
In a strange way that was excellent footage. Looks like you could make a TV program out of it. We have the makings of a TV presenter here methinks.

You'd 've bin even more unhappy if the red mist's descended and you'd clouted a chassis rail
Gettin' there mate and lookin' good as well.

The way I see it, you only get to destroy your plug once every 3 years. Or less if you're not INSANE....
It was fun, but I don't think it was so fun that I would go through it again just for that. Now... having a mould that I like and that turned
out great... THAT's another story! woooohooooooo!!!!

lets hope the mould doesnt keep curing and warp! What do you intend to do if the mould doesnt last? Great work BTW

The entire mould has been bolted together now with over 150 big bolts and washers and will be always cure together. The mould that cures together...
warps together.
Let's hope these moulds last a while.

Hope so, as the missus wants a middy with your body work wrapped round it. And I haven't built mine yet!
