Electroplating kits from Frost
Anybody used these ? if so what sort of results have you got, got any pics?
Kind of tempted by the "super bright plating kit" found
Here I've always been happy with Frost stuff but this
plating is a bit of an uknown area for me but do like my shiney stuff
Your comments would be appreciated.
Cheers

Nickel plate isn't that shiney, it is not bad as a finish a warmer colour than chrome and easy to get to stick to steel, it is frequently used
to plate components as an under plating for chrome. The process is pretty simple, if you can do the electrolytic de rusting frequently discussed here
then you should be able to nickel plate.
Good luck

My local electroplaters put copper on steel first, then nickel, then chrome over that. One sticks to the other and so on....
Cheers,
Syd.
