Nosecone grill
Do I really need one?
I neveer seen one yet that I like the look of, but I really do like the way the Rush does it..open with just a bar.
The problem is I don't want anyone to think I'm making a Rush copy.
Do I NEED to fit anything for SVA?

I believe you need to have something there for SVA, give it some thought and get creative mate.

I bought a chrome plated trivet from Woolworths, for the princely sum of £4.
It is 500mmm x 240mm and is made of 7mm dia round bar. I think it will look the dogs b@ll@cks when it's cut down to suit.
Tell them about the bent treacle edges!

I have a Fire Guard, which was found in a neighbours skip. Still in flat pack stage in storage, looks good, and may get to use the main frame of it,
then the grill in the middle.

I made my grille using 1/8" stainless steel wire. I made a jig so that the shape was right. I bent the wire for the outer frame and welded in
the horizontals and verticals. It was easy to make and inexpensive and best of all, it looked good.

Get something, spray matt black and mount as deep as you can inside the nosecone then you won't see it. You will need to trim nose opening
carefully.
