Final Car dimensions
Looking at the book, a chassis is about 3m long, plus extra for the nose cone and rear lights, spare wheel, number plate holders, but I'm
wondering how long a finished car will be?
I'm trying to work out how big a shed I will need for it.

build you big shed round you donor car
(sierra) as the donor car is a lot bigger
than the kit car and you should have
lots of room.just a thought...

so if you can't get the donor to the shed
when you have built you car how are you
going to get it out?
make the shed the same size as the donor....

Ignore the size of the car and the donor, build the shed a big as possible cos you will end up with the width as of the car plus a compressor and a
welder, and the length as of the car plus the kids bikes and a workbench!
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

I already have 3 sheds in the agrden, one of which is 1.8m wide by about 3.4m long, this will be my assembly area (unless its to small in which case I
wuill have to build a new shed.
Any final dimensions anybody???please!!!
I plan on building over the next year or so, and by the time I finish, I may well have moved house *hopefully to a garage, if not when I finish I
wuilll have to keep the car out the front, or rent a garage)
As to how I will get it out, when the car is complete, I plan on part dissasembling it carrying it through the house and reassembly in aformentioned
garage etc.
I plan on tilting the chassis sideways so it'll fit through the back door, and carry straight throuigh the sash windows at the front.
Things like wheels, engines etc WILL all have to come off, but as topgear showed last night, if 3 numpties can (re)build a car in 8 hours, then I
should be able to do so in a weekend
(theres nothing like setting yourself up for a fall is there!).
