Alloy Wheel Shot Blasting!!

I have a set of RS 4 spoke alloys and want to get them shot blasted so I can then spray myself - does any one know of a shot blasting service in the Cambridgeshire area? or any other way of easily cleaning them up?? Thanks

Bit far for you but : Craven & Nicholas Ltd Boston. 01205 364004

I got mine back today.

They want bead blasting.

It was harder getting a the rubber fitted. As ATS wanted £60 to put my rubber on my rims Still third tyre depot lucky saw them on my rims for £20

Hi Wasa,

Why is it harder to get rubber fitted? did you have bead blasted then spray yourself? what was the cost of the basic blasting?

No what I mean is the tyre firms wanted to fit there own product to my rims and not mine.

Mine are powder coated as well. Most of the cost is in the labour of the bead blasting. Blasting is about £18+vat per wheel or £25+Vat per wheel inc powder coating.

I have tried doing them myself in my own shot blasting cab, took about 20 hours to do one rim. Get all my stuff done by the above firm now.

I thought about doing them myself, I even bougt a compressor but it didn't have the capacity, hence it's on ebay at the moment. I think I will give them a call as £18 does not sound to bad.
