Nose and Scuttle

OK folks I have built a book Chassis and shoved a Pinto in. What would be the best GRP nose cone and scuttle to get to fit over the pinto without a bonnet bulge? I have sidedraft carbs so don't need a hole for the downdraft standard carb.

TIA

I did the same as you and tried several bonnets but without any luck. The ones without a bulge ended looking really high and out of proportion with the alloy sides. It also gave a really high scuttle. In the end I went with a Luego velocity scuttle, bonnet and 'cone. It is high enough to fit the pinto but the built in air scoop disguises the height. I used second hand bits which will eventually be painted when the car is finished (!) but here is a pic in the meantime.

If you go for an ST nose and scuttle I have a mould which I made my bonnet with. The guy who has bought my car does not want the mould so it's up for grabs: would easily modify to change the bulge shape or eliminate it. Would have to be collected, or could deliver in south midlands/Redditch area. See my archive for pics.
