Bala - quite almost finished.

Gentlemen, (and others) I'm mostly posting over in the middy section. You know, down the page a bit... But I understand that some of you hardcore "fronty's" don't venture into the middy section very often, so here you go.

La Bala almost completed. Still in white gelcoat and missing a few bits and bobs:

Still images just don't do the car justice. Especially from my little digital camera. Here is a link to a short youtube vid walkaround.

steve, if it looks half that good in the flesh then you've done well, never mind if it looks even better! Awesome stuff. Is the screen newly added? Not seen a picture with it on before.

Looking better and better everyday sir! So, how much to ship a shell to me?

I would love to sell to the UK. Don't know how badly the exchange rate will screw me? Right now my total focus is just getting the US business up and operational. I am placing ads for April publication and there is soo much to do still.

I am happy to ship bodies to the UK if anyone wishes to roll their own chassis, etc. until my UK agent is set up. I just have to figure out the crating cost and size, and then the actual shipping costs before I can quote anything.

Final colour of this one will be Corvette Sunset Orange. Google it. It's a great colour, especially with the black rims. IMHO.

WRT UK agent. I am still looking into what the best course of action is and the field is wide open.
G.

The exchange rate is in your favour because we get more dollars to our pound. This means that US prices are very attractive.
What is less attractive is UK import duty.

I think an ally mesh grill would look nice at the front.

Beautiful car none the less

That's the color! Depending on the light angle it goes either very dark or very light. And that makes it great for showing of curves and angles. It's a great color IMHO.

The grille mesh is in the plan. Actually more of a perforated holes sheet.

I tried to get the lights to work in the windshield and they blocked off too much of the view forward. Didn't look right either.

Wanna see 3 more pics? OK.

Here's a better video on YouTube:

A professional photographer was out to shoot the car for the magazine, but the lighting was terrible. We had to cancel. But we squeezed off a few shots before it started to rain. Here are 3 just from my crappy little Sony DSC-W1.
