Lexan ?

I'm at the point of making some side screens.
I thought I wound make the bottom halve out of alloy and the top out of clear plastic
what's the best type for this application lexan maybe?
Any thought and idaes ?
Best place to buy the materials for the job?

Do a search on here and/or look in photo archives. Amongst other who have made doors/sidescreens are GeoffT, Bob, Zetec and me
