main/side and dip lights
Aim planning on using two lights either side on my build one being a dip unit and the other main/side unit.
I know of the min/max heights but I have a diagram that states I cannot position the main beam unit closer to the edge of the vehicle that the dip
unit.
I cannot find any reference to it in the 2004 SVA manual can anyone confirm.

I think that must be right because I cannot think of any 4 headlight cars where the main beam is outside the dipped beam lamp. I think it is always
the inners that are the main beam.

main/side and dip lights
That would make the main/side light which is one unit on the inside of the dipped beam.
I have no problems with that my method of thinking was to put the side lights on the outer edge/side of the car.
thanks
