Exhaust

What's the best way of dealing with the seam at the front of an exhaust can?

Also - Is there an SVA friendly exhaust clamp?

If you are using the Lolocost exhaust it may be possible to use some "herringbone" trim around the seams , thats what I did with mine which was OK for sva . Also used a VW /Audi exhaust clamp with a home made nut cover .

Does the exhaust not get hot enough to melt the trim?

Mine has been on for 4,000 miles and is still as good as when I put it on.
