Bonnet catches

I have these bonnet catches LINKY
But they dont come with fitting plans

Anyone got any plans for me before i make a mess of fitting them!

I didn't get plans with mine either so I guessed with the first one so that the catch was directly above the rubber bit and had it stretch when it was closed about 1/4". seems to work they have not come loose so far while driving.

Try rs, stock code: 288-8464. You want the dimensions for the small ones.



Put the holes 2mm closer together than on that pic, so 29mm not 32mm.

I used the plans from hellfires website, did a test on a lump of wood first worked a treat once you make a template up for holes from the self tappers i used in the wood.Image deleted by owner

I got a scrap of ally sheet and drilled the mounting holes, then tested that the catch worked properly at that spacing (took a couple of goes til I was happy) then i used the ally as a drill guide
