Aeroscreen fixings

I've done a quick search and managed to tie myself up in knots!

I've brought a carbon aeroscreen from Carbon Mods.

First question -how have others fixed theirs to the car?

Second question - how do you polish a scratch out of carbon fibre?

Get down to Halfrauds and to their bike section, they do screen fixing kits with about 8 rubber nuts and black anodized bolts.
Drill thru the screen at marked intervals, then drill the scuttle to match (use a pen or just drill all the way thru and make the hole bigger as necessary)

Worked ok on mine!
I've also run a bead of sealer (black gutter type ) around it to stop any water coming thru if you get caught out. Stops it running down the dash etc etc...

Get some M5 Button head bolts and some M5 Nyloc's and washers.

Drill about four or five holes through the Aeroscreen and the Scuttle and bolt it on.

As for the polishing scratches out, it depends how it's scratched...
Get yourself some "Grate Polish" (the stuff used for Blackening up people's fireplaces and that should Re-Blacken the CF nicely, then just some decent polish on it and you're away!

when i drilled my cf cycle wings i put masking tape on first and then marked with a pen where i wanted to drill. start your drill very slowly and then when you get a bit of a counter sink as it were you can spead the drill up a bit,

p.s you got any photo's of it, i want to buy one of the carbon mods aeroscreens as well, what is the quality like, my cycle wings are from there and they were top notch!
