Are we ever going to have a decent picture of this car other than massive ones of the alternator?

don't tell me...that's job number 17

I used a lock from maplins (they sell them for overrall lockers etc) and then took a large sized rubber nut cover and cut the top off that left a ring of rubber and then put that round the outside of the lock.

I have now put another two locks on the bonnet just to re enforce the rubber latches.....

check the photo archive (locks on bonnet)

If I ever get around to it, when I fit a boot box in the car, I'm going to use an old fiesta central locking solenoid (which I happen to have and looking for a use for) and a hidden reed switch.
I suppose I could also have the reed switch powered so it can only be opened when the key is in the ignition for security.

I used a couple of 8mm button headed bolts and carry an allen key to use.

Mr Whippy

If the weather is ever dry enough to actually get the thing out of the garage I'll post some up to date photos as the ones I have are pretty out of date.

At the mooment the sun only seems to shine when I'm sat in work.

Oh and the jobs list is now up to 25 as I forgot some

Nigel
