Best place to buy a windsreen wiper kit to fit to a ST scuttle?

Hi Guys

After experiencing another stone ricocheting off my rollover bar like a bullet i've decided it's time to fit the Caterham windscreen I bought off Donut!

Any suggestions on the best place to buy a windscreen wiper kit for fitting to a ST scuttle? The best price I've found so far for the basic kit (no arms or blades) is £130 from CBS.

Do I need the long shaft wheel boxes?
Do I need a special tool for bending the outer tube?

Any help gratefully received.

Ta
Gary

I've fitted SVC Mini wiper system to my ST car with Caterham screen...

You don't need the long shaft wheel boxes (I used plain mini rocker boxes and mini chrome escutcheons) but you will need to re-inforce the scuttle top, otherwise the top of the scuttle flexes when the wipers are working..... A few layers of glass fibre matt resin'd in place should do the trick.

You also don't need to bend the outer tube... You can fit the motor on the left hand side of the scuttle (you'll need to make up a bracket to hold the motor in place), then run straight and short tubes to the rocker boxes... I'll take some photos if you want....

If you use short straight tubes you'll get less resistance than if you use a curved tube (IE less amps).....
