Bodywork repairs (grp/fibreglass)
Had a look at car at the weekend, on paper it loks good, maybe less so in the flesh.
Most bits i could sort if i got the car for the right price, but also pretty much all the panels have some damage, and i know nothing about fireglass
repairs.
The nose cone is badly sprayed to match the wings, but also crazed underneath. Presumably respraying it would only cover it up intill it next flexed a
bit and the the crazing in the gellcoat comes though?
Also several edges that are crack/split a bit. I guess you could cut it back, will with resin, with glass behind, and try and make something of it?
Matching the gelcoat?
May well just leave the car, but its certainly a thought. Just doesnt look like its a three year old car right now!!

Star cracks in fibreglass need grinding out not just flatting back as they will reappear as if by magic...grp is sent by the devil and has a mind of
it's own...
My Daughter has taken over production of the damn fine Triton race seats and her contact email is emmatrs@live.co.uk.

If it's a sevenesque type car, the bodies are so simple that you are best just relacing it, or make it look good and make moulds from it to make
your own replacements.
