Removing Scratches from Gelcoat?
I need to remove some small scratches on my bodywork.
Am I right in thinking 1600 wet & dry followed by polishing will be OK?

farecla cutting compounds
G3 is a bit courser than t cut and G10 gives you a finish like glass,
another good finishing product is 3M finesse-it ll you can get an amazing finish with this

Id also recommend the use Farecla G3(cutting compound) and G10(polishing compound). I use mine to finish resprayed panels but it works fine on my Leon
Cupra R for the bad scratches. Think i got mine cheapest off ebay. SRP is a polish with a lot of fillers hence why scratches come back. G3 is abrasive
paste and will just about remove sanding marks done with 1500 grit wet and dry so like sand paper it also removes layers. If you use it take it slowly
and check your work regularly and also use it with a damp applicator.
