Want the most awesome car-engined Fury?

Used to be my car (I sold it to John) and it's a bit of kit. Built for sprinting with the best of everything - competes in the road-legal under 1.7-litre class (2A) and is an awesome track day toy.

Forged pistons, forged rods, knife-edged crank Sigma 1.6SE engine with raised compression and fully race head with custom cams, R1 throttle bodies and 8 injectors, matched length exhaust manifold, top-spec BGH close-ratio box, recently rebuilt Trans LSD, AP racing clutch, lightened flywheel, custom-made Force split rim wheels, Stack and Motogadget instruments, in date Schroth harnesses etc etc. The best of the best...

Revs to 9000rpm and howls!

He's selling it for a bargain price here:

Must resist, must resist...

I've spoken to him today and said it's too cheap. Properly sorted car that'd be very competitive in the right hands. Even the bodywork is lightweight bespoke, as is the custom full Procomp roll cage with side impact protection all built to MSA blue book...

How tempted am I

As above, its worth more and I doubt it will hang around long

Adi - have you seen the Roll cage in this - just what you (and I) were after

peterrosey - 16/11/16 at 12:51 PM

It was built by these guys, who I'd recommend - good straight talking lads...

www.procomp.co.uk/contactus.html

They also added bracing legs to the rear section of the chassis and braced it under the dash - it's the strongest bit of the car!
