Let's have a list of reasons for not going if you can't
make it!
For me it's because I've been away with work lots
at the minute and I've got a new-born
oh Newark is only 10 minutes away too!
cant be arsed..
car still no worky ...
Theres no excused. i went down sat arvo and camped in the rain!!
SWMBO is doing photo shoots all weekend so i'm on kiddy duties.
Would prefer to spend the time in the garage and get the car done instead. Plus I'd only end up spending a fortune on stuff I don't need yet anyway.
working GRRRRRR.
Denis.
3 days working on the car was too good an oppertunity to miss!
I'd probably end up buying another kit and more shiny toys.
It would have cost me £100 in fuel to get there.
Then a bit of cash for the journey, whilst there etc.
If I had gone, not really bought anything significant and had camped whilst there, it would have cost me £200.
Sad to say, but that's a very very significant proportion of my non existent budget.
I doff my hat to those of you from up here who do this religiously every year.
1. I was never going to be going as we had a family birthday yesterday
2. The weather is absolutely sh|te!
3. err... that's it
It's wor lass's birthday this weekend,so she told me i wasn't going
Plus the weathers rubbish.

My trusty landrover was written off 2 weeks ago so until my payout cheque clears, ive got no car
Well i was on my way to NEC to pick up Mikkel, thought i would have a quick blast through country roads and onto A45, As i accellerated, a section of
cycle wing bracket broke off mangled its self into road wheel ripping through brake pipes, up onto my bonnett causing deep scratch and eventually
bashing my lid visor. So new cycle wings, new cycle wing brackets (not from ebay this time), bonnet resparay, bake lines, alloy wheel and new lid!!
Sorry again to Mikkell and claire too who were expecting me. Think ime gonna buy me a mondeo, and put a match to the seven
Im four weeks from the end of a five year engineering degree and i REALLY should be working on that!!
I finished my 20th shift in a row this morning at 4.30am. 10 days then 10 nights 12 hrs.
I was going to miss my sleep and go but it was raining.
I've just woken up
We went yesterday, spent more keeping the kids happy than buying stuff for the car.

Garage time.
In Padstow, Cornwall this weekend for the Obby 'oss May Day festival. Drunk and ate far too much!
The cornish people are mental and such a laugh
On a cruise ....
Long way to go, didn't have a shopping list, weather forecast was poor (and fairly accurate too
). Couldn't be bothered to go all that
way in the tin-top, and would have had to refuel twice in the Locost if the weather had been good enough to take it.
If the truth be told - couldn't raise the enthusiasm...
...ended up laying carpet tiles in the downstairs cloakroom (got sore knees now
).

Why would I...............
Car finished years ago , only use it about 3 times a year, should sell it really!
Most kit car shows i've been to have been a disappointment .
Anything you need can be sourced on line.
Roads in the south east not conducive to a good kit car experience.
I think I've grown out of it , (not in size! in mind........)
Had a relaxing time at the zoo !
Had to do uni work
