After Wednesday's burglary I felt the need to do something positive....

Started stripping the E Types head, ready for fitting the ported big valve XJ6 EFI head, thought I'd trial fit the efi components:

seems to fit OK







Air filter fouled the pedal box when fitted vertically, cutting the recessed backplate and angling it has cured that, just hope it clears the bonnet..




A couple of feet of welding to seal the backplate up, might just rivet it as it won't be seen....

sounds like an awsome project, and for what it's worth, I love the idea of taking an old design car and throwing some modern components at it to make it better than it ever was......Sod what the purests might say :-)

Sympathetic updates are a good thing IMHO.
