I´m trying to find a electronic fuel level sender for my tank. The model I´m looking for is just a pipe without any moving parts.
Anyone seen something like that?

They are used in the marine industry. And they come in several lengths, plus I think you can cut them to fit. Try "ASAP" they have a web site, may be of use. HTH, Ray

I used one of the "S2" senders from the following site:

They are fairly expensive but there are no moving electrical parts (other than the reed switches closing as the magnet on the outer ring moves past them. This type of design is supposed to be very reliable. Too early yet for me to tell...

Have a search for capacitive fuel senders. I was looking for something similar but went for the above VDO dip tube as the cost was reasonable and Merlin Motorsport just happended the have the exact length I wanted when I asked.

Big advantange of the sealed dip tube is you can use the foam baffle bricks for track work.
