cheap trigger wheel - or DIY?
02GF74 - 30/3/07 at 01:32 PM

firstly what is the size of trigger wheel used on ford crossflow? (inner hole diameter and out diameter)

A photo of installed one would be helpful.

In theory one could make one at home but it would be time consuming (drilling 36 holes) and the balancing so who/where is the cheapest source to buy?

TAI.

I think they are triggerwheel.com to be fair. It's someone on the Se7ens list who set that "company" up. They also sell bundles of automotive wires IIRC.

Triggerwheel.com

Not the prettiest but effective - see here (Go to Engine/ECU, then external crank trigger wheel)

1.8 cvh sierra, thats what I've used, dead easy to get off as well, right at the front.

I used a wheel from a 1.8cvh also , mounted it on an alloy pulley but it could be welded to a steel front pulley easily.

I got mine new from a Ford dealer - for the price it wasn't worth trying to find one in a scrappy. Can probably dig out the part no if you want it.
