I am using a MS1 - V3 - MSnSE in wasted spark mode and a relay board and have got to the stage of wiring the cable to connect the pair and want to check the following.

The build manual suggests wiring the second VB921 output to SRP4 then soldering a wire from this to pin 6 on the DB37. However, the relay board takes pin 6 to ground so I don't want to use this. So, I want to do this and would like a police check that it is ok before I go ahead:

Step 1, remove wire from VB921 to SRP4 and solder it to X13
Step 2, solder an additional wire from X13 to pin 29

Is this ok or am I doing something that will mess up another area.

I am hoping to do this over the weekend so if anybody can offer a view on it I would be really pleased.

SPR1, 2, 3 and 4 are connected directly to DB37 pins 3, 4, 5, 6 respectively via pcb tracks on the V3 board.

IAC1A IAC1B IAC2A & IAC2B are connected to pins 25, 27, 29, 31.

On the relay board DB37 pins 25, 27, 29, 31 are connected directily to terminals S1 - S4.

If you wire the output of your VB921s to IAC1A /B then you can then wire S1 and S2 on the relay board directly to your coils.

This is not the only way of doing it but it's what I've done as it seems logical and tidy.
