Megasquirt or EDIS for spark?

Hi,

I'm looking to 'squirt my Porsche 924. It's already got MFI so shouldn't be too difficult.

I understand that MS can do the spark without EDIS? What are the comparative benefits of each?

I've got a 36-1 trigger wheel on its way to me, so want to use that (obviously).

Also. anyone dealt with these people before www.4Designs.co.uk ? good/bad/ugly? They can supply an assembled V3 for £220.

Thanks.

I posted a similar thread a while back

here

As you can/will see there is no huge general concensus either way with both having benefits.

Eventually I ended up deciding to go down the onboard coil driver route (not that its built yet). As it should make for a tidier engine bay and should simplify fault finding.
