Anyone know about bike fuel pumps??
Good morning.
Following on from a recent posting about overfueling zx9 carbs I have spent the week trying to get a hold of the correct pump for the job (without
success ) Nobody seems to have one around these parts. So my question is this...
Does anyone know of another pump that will be suitable for the job? i.e. r1,zx6 ect as there are loads on the bay of e finishing shortly at reasonable
money and could get me sorted within the week. I have asked various sellers, but without reply I'm reluctant to go spending if its just going to
be a gamble!

I am using a ZX6 pump on my Z1000 engine and it works fine, I would go for it.

I would put the pump as near to the tank as possible and low as they like to push fuel and they dont seem to like pulling.

iv got r6 pump on my zx9 carbs works fine.
Make sure u get a carbed bike pump not an injected bike one.

Yep - using an R1 with my blade and it's fine.
I think most are made by Mitsubishi and are similar and are all up to the job.
