Ford Push Fit connectors (Fuel!)

Hi All,

The fuel system on my donor Fiesta used push fit type connectors. As a result, the fuel filter has a plain hose outlet with no flare or barbs to grip the hose. All of the connectors on the car are right angled - is there a source of replacement straight 8mm push fit couplings that can be fitted to rubber hose?

I flared the connecting tube with a brake flaring tool, works very well
I also flared the ends of the copper fuel pipe.

Had a play with my pipe flaring tool and have made some flares that will suffice for the copper pipe - don't think it will work on the fuel filter though

Worked fine on my filter, just treat it as copper pipe, single flare though.
