fitting different injectors to gsxr tb

ive just bough myself some gsxr1000 throttle bodies but the standard injectors wont flow enough for what I need.

Is there anything thats a straight swap? Needs to flow around 320cc/min.

If not what have people used? The little PICO ones or something different? Anything I can rob from a scrappy that will do the job?

Cheers

I'm using some Supra (non turbo ) injectors. Green top.

I paid about $50 for them from the states - quite rare over here?

They flow about 350cc/min

I got Gixer 750 throttle bodies ;-)

Got some normal car injectors. You should be able to get a good seal between the injectors, bodies and rail. However, IIRC the rail will need spacing away with spacers

Are you sure the GSXR 1000 injectors won't flow enough? I'm using GSXR600 injectors (on a Xflow) and was surprised to find that a bench test of these revealed a flow rate in excess of 300 cc/min. This is further bourne out by the fact that the duty cycle of these injectors at WOT rarely exceeds 50%, indicating they're well within their capability.

I don't know what the flow rate of the 1000 injectors is, but wouldn't have thought it less than the 600's - these are good for up to 200 bhp by some accounts. Maybe your hp will be greater than this, but if not I'd be inclined to give them a try before you spend any more of your hard earned cash....

the quoted figures ive seen are 230cc/min, not sure thats right though. seehere.

Im running about 225bhp so even at 300cc/min I would be struggling.

what was the power spec of gsxr1000? about 160bhp ish?

Think I've got some 380cc/min car injectors around here somewhere.

Unchecked - bought them off fleabay about 18months ago.

can have a hunt around and see if I can find them - if you want them, make me an offer.
