So here is my question,
What model of 'normal' car battery have people used in there CEC?
Im running a C20XE 2L red top and need to know what battery to fit, i cant afford any of the beautiful racing batterys so am going to have to get one of the heavy types

I use a 038 battery on my V6 plastic car. It's off a Mini but as there are no extras to draw from it, it seems fine. It has to start the car and then that's it! I'm sure the alternator can handle the fuel pumps and ECU and the (rubbish) headlights and cooling fan!

I used the battery that came with my Granada.

Just mounted it in the engine bay, low down on the nearside up near the foot well bulkhead.
