I want to change the Lucus 2 wire alt. on a Rover V8 to a Delco single wire. The Delco has 3 wire connection The main feed is clearly mark but the two spade terminals are marked R1 and F2

I imagain that one is the battery warning light and the other a possibly a field.

Can anyone identify them for me and possibly tell me where to wire the none warning light one? A diagram would be of great help.
