is it true they're not illuminated? is there any way to make them light up? would consider modifying them if i had, to i think
or what about revotec?
is it only the speedo that has to light up for SVA?

^^^^ speedo is only guage required for SVA.
now if you fit others, e.g. water temp, fuel etc. I suspect they will be fine if they don't light up - but it could be one of those grey areas
perhaps?
Cover up the gauge with insulation tape for the test.
cool, thats what i thought would be the case.
wonder if there's any way i can get the RMD speedo to light up?
People have passed SVA with cycle computers and a single LED pointing at the front. No idea what IVA might have to say and I'm sure some testers
wouldn't like it but it passes the letter of the law for SVA.
Bad ascii art picture (D is dash, G is gauge face, T is tranmission tunnel, L is LED, '.' are 'beams of light' )

cool, i had thought about shining a led bar at the front of the gauges. i've got a UV one i got free with something that could lend itself to
some white faced gauges
hard wire in attached to the steering collumn.... hmmm
