I know this has been discussed before, but does anyone have info regarding what is available/best e.t.c , iv'e seen a Pi "C" dash for sale second hand, but unused, this is really intended for race use, but looks pretty good, it sits in its own housing behind the steering wheel, with buttons on the wheel to alter functions. It seems to cover most things, but doesent have oddometer function, i'm not certain if this is a requirement for road use.

have you tried etb instruments, they sell the digidash, orginally produced by customautotech, it costs £500 which some would consider a lot,but it has some great functions and is suitable for a road car and a race car.
