not sure if i should put this in here or in the engine section.
I have a ford temp sender linked to my megasquirt ECU that gives me 1 reading
An acewell sender linked to the acewell speedo that gives me another reading
They are both in the ford thermostat housing.
Before i tidied the wiring up a bit they both read the same or near enough but now they are nearly 10 - 15 degrees C difference.
any ideas?
i had this problem with mine, you will find that the acewell sender and acewell dash are compatible and the acewell is programmed with the correct
resistances of the acewell sender whereas this is not the case for the MS and the ford sendor, you need to use easytherm to recalibrate the MS so that
the resistances of the ford sender have been put into the firmware of the ECU.
the reading you are getting from the acewell sender is a more reliable source for the correct temperature
alternatively you could purchase a temp sender that is compatible with MS from the seller of the MS
