Has anyone got a picture of the standard Ford handbrake switch arrangement? I can't find my donor one anywhere so I think I'm going to have
to get creative.....?!

My mk1 escort handbrake didn't have a switch, so I put one on dash...
possible option for you?
Ben,
I thought the brake test switch (and indication light) had to be linked to the handbrake switch?
Kev.
no it has to be in reach of the driver

All true...
Mine is a push to test brake warning light and it passed!
Ok, thanks all!!
Just checked and it's the same for IVA
quote:
The hydraulic system failure warning lamp must be secure,
operational, visible during daylight and darkness from the driving
position, identifiable (ie labelled in a recognised form – see diagram
1 for an example) and fitted with a “test facility” that enables its
operation to be checked from the driving position without opening
the reservoir.
Has anyone got a circuit diagram for the Ford Master cylinder test circuit?
(And why when you do a search does it sometimes says "web page has expired" when you try to go back to the search results?)
I have the same web expired message, so i just refresh and they come back.
