Nippon Denso wiring, again
Dickyboy - 20/4/09 at 02:51 PM

Hi, I have looked through the archive and all seem to refer to 2 or 3 pin plugs, plus power takeoff. My ND has a connector with 4 pins, anyone know how to wire it, or where I can find a diagram? Please don't tell me its no good

it will be good, once we have identified how to wire it.

can you post photo showing the connections?

I have found a site with the regulator on it, and the pins are marked D, FR, IG and L. Anyone help from that? Please!

It looks like 022803111Nippon regulator pdf

see my post about D - that bit worries me since it sounds like the ecu tells the alternaotr how much juice to throw out so it may not work if not connected.

I can think of a way round but you may want to consider fitting regulator 0228031065 that is 3 pin, without the D.

or 022803155 (2 pin)

from the file they look like they are swappable.
