If you're willing to pay I can recommend Gary from Autosparks - the man is a god when it comes to autoelectrics - he wired mine from start to
finish in a day - no fault codes and the price wasn't bad either.
Let me know if you want his number.
Obviously auto electrics aren't my thing otherwise I would have come down for a blast to help.
As it happens I was on Easingwold bypass this morning as part of a 160mile blast around
yeh if you could send me his number that would be good! was it a good blat? went to clifton moor and must of seen four 7's on the way there and
back i was so jealous!
U2U sent
Yes, had a great blast round - I took a mate out for the 1st time - he now wants to buy one
What about a scrapyard / breakers for the plugs / sockets?
What engine / electrics?
Just a thought.

hi yeh i think il be taking a day off work to search round the local scrappers to see what i can find, im guesing its part of the siera loom, and its a 1.6 pinto
the post connectors for the coil are the same as blue female bullet connectors from motor factors i think the water temp will be too but it may be a blue femal spade end
That looks like the ignition electronics module. (connects to the Dizzy).
This could be harder to find.
Maybe just the wiring is melted, and the module is OK, but you will need a new plug and wiring.
Worst case is convert to megajolt!
One bit looks like the capacitor off the alternator, easy to get.
Cant recognie the other bits.,
Still its not a disaster, just a an inconvenience.
