Anybody have any info on what the wires are?

And does this arrangement look dangerous?

what year?

there are 9 wiring diagrams in the Haynes.

let me know and I can scan the page - give me an excuse to try my new printer scanner bought last week but still unopened.

google MGB wiring - I am sure it will be out there on t'web.

Thanks for that. Any information is appreciated greatly.

I googled and found nothing I could understand! I don't know what year the stalk is, as it was given to me. I have identified 3 of the wires (plus the black which I assume is the earth), as L, R and power in. I suppose I could just ignore the others and tape them up.

Will the Bulb Relay in the Indicator circuit protect this circuit when the Hazards are on, and vice versa?

For 2 1/2 years, the procedure for me is as follows: I go into the garage 5 days a week, full of optimism, work for a few days on something, come to the realisation that I don't know what I'm doing, it's going to cost more money, and get very frustrated. Well, most things don't cause fires, so this is an important one to do properly.

Nevermind. The diagram didn't work: not enough current to the bulbs out of the LED relay. Back to the drawing board.

2 options left: Buy one more LED relay, OR ditch the LED's altogether and get new lights for the back. This last option would greatly simplify my life. Now I have two great big holes in my arches to fill. Oh well.
