Wedge type bulb holder, help

Hi all, sometime ago i bought some side repeaters off ebay i was looking at fitting them today but when i looked at the bulbs i got with them i was unsure how to connect them up, looking on tinternet their called wedge type bulbs like these anyone know where i can get a bulb holder to suit this type of bulb, have found another set of side indicators these which show a holder in the pic so i assume i need something simular, any ideas? Greg

I assume the lamps came without bulb holders. Wouldn't it make more sence to find bulb holders that fit the lamps and then bulbe that fit the holder.

Have you got a picture of the lamp?

Hi Adrian, thanks for your reply, the lamps look exactly the same as the ones in the last pic of the second link and take the same style holder just the lenses which are different. I have searched the usual ebay, maplins, vwp but havent found anything yet

Lots of similar bulb holders about but they often have subtle differences in the diameters or pins. If you post up a picture of your lamps someone might recognise what car they come from. Otherwise get down to the scrapyard and start trying bulb holders (sidelight ones are often similar).

Ok cool, looks like a trip to the scrappers! Incase anyones able to help the side indicators I have are from a Subaru

Im sure Peugeot 206 Side Repeaters have that bulb holder, as its a twist fit i think, last time i looked at one.

I have just checked parts fiche and it appears to the the early ones (amber lens) that have seperate holders, but can not guarantee they will fit your lamps.

Ok Thanks mate shall keep my eye out for some early pugs at the scrappers then and take my lens with me
