Does anyone know much about these type of temp sensors, what signal do they output, i'm guessisng resistance, but are they all a standard range?
we're looking for a 100+ ohm temp sensor preferably with 1/8 nptt thread

Temperature sensors have to match the guage or the ECU they are serving.
So you need to know the resistance range of your guage and the the resistance of the sensor.
If you are using it for something like Megasquirt, then the settings in MS have to be adjusted to match the sensors resistance.
